Many of you have been asking to see our video walk through of the ‘before’ of our classic ranch–flip #8….well here you go!
Interestingly…..
This is the newest house we have ever purchased as a flip. Our classic ranch was built in 1961!! Do you know what that means?! No knob and tube electrical! Woot woot!!
On the downside, it also means no historic charm or unveiling of original wood floors. So we find ourselves in new territory.
What it does have:
- Almost an acre lot with a creek and some woods to play in
- Walk out basement–not finished though and stair access is only through the garage
- Quiet dead end street
- AMAZING neighbors (who we have waved to or chatted with more than 6 feet apart ;))
- Single floor living
What it needs…..
- Every square inch needs updating
- All new paint
- All new floors
- Entirely new bathroom
- Refreshed kitchen with new countertops and backsplash
- Exterior needs all new paint
- New landscape
- The shed needs CPR….LOL, but seriously…..it is struggling
- And 294857392 other things.
